Made by Artesano Sr. Sylviano Torres in Capula, Michoacan. This artesania is part of Paraíso Plant Studio's direct trade program with Artisans in Mexico. María meets with highly skilled artisans throughout México, many whose families have passed their craft down through generations. We feel honored to carry their art in our store and hold ourselves to the highest trade and import standards. We pay artesans for their art directly at the prices they determine, never working to haggle or undercut their value. Many of the artesans are from indigenous communities throughout México working to preserve their culture through art.
